Note: As in the previous recruitment cycle, Indian Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India have listed their vacancies as "NR" (Not Reported) in the official notification. The total number of vacancies may increase if these banks announce their vacancy details at a later stage. This also represents a 29% increase in vacancies compared to the previous recruitment cycle.
IBPS PO 2026 New Changes You Must Know
The IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2026 has been revised. The mains exam will now be of 170 objective questions for 200 marks with Reasoning 40 questions, GA/Banking/Digital Awareness 50 questions, English 40 questions, and Data Analysis 40 questions.
Other important changes in IBPS PO Notification 2026:
- New PwBD clauses have been added in the IBPS PO 2026 Notification. New UDID card authentication will be required to submit while registration.

Nationality:
Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intent to permanently settle in India.
Educational Qualification:
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised University, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. The final result must have been declared on or before 21.07.2026.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (August 22 and 23, 2026)
The IBPS PO Prelims is a qualifying examination. The Preliminary Examination is non‑qualifying, but appearing in it is mandatory to be eligible for the Interview.
