IBPS has indicated 6,715 vacancies across 11 Participating Banks for CRP PO/MT‑XVI, with three banks yet to report their numbers. The maximum number of vacancies was announced for Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra, and Canara Bank.

IBPS PO 2026 New Changes You Must Know

The IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2026 has been revised. The mains exam will now be of 170 objective questions for 200 marks with Reasoning 40 questions, GA/Banking/Digital Awareness 50 questions, English 40 questions, and Data Analysis 40 questions.

IBPS PO 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intent to permanently settle in India.

Educational Qualification:

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised University, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. The final result must have been declared on or before 21.07.2026.

Age Limit (as on July 1, 2026):

IBPS PO 2026 Selection Process: Three Stages

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (August 22 and 23, 2026)

The IBPS PO Prelims is a qualifying examination. The Preliminary Examination is non‑qualifying, but appearing in it is mandatory to be eligible for the Interview.
