Enter your NEET marks out of 720 in the tool above. You will get your expected rank based on historical NTA data from 2021 to 2025.
The predictor uses official NTA result data trends across 5 years (2021-2025). It gives you a rank band, not a single fixed rank, because paper difficulty affects the final result each year.
Generally 610+ for General category, 580+ for OBC, and 480+ for SC/ST are considered safe for government MBBS seats. These are estimates based on 2025 patterns and can vary by state.
It is difficult for AIQ General quota but possible under state quota for OBC/SC/ST categories, or in private MBBS colleges. Use the rank output to build your shortlist.
AIQ (All India Quota) covers 15% of government MBBS seats and is handled by MCC. State quota covers 85% of seats and is managed by your state's DME portal. You need to register for both separately.

Around 25 lakh+ students appear for NEET annually. There are approximately ~55,000+ government MBBS seats in India, making it one of the most competitive medical entrance exams.
Start shortlisting colleges based on your expected rank, category, and home state. Register separately on the MCC portal for AIQ seats and your state DME portal for the 85% state quota seats when counselling opens.
Paper difficulty changes each year. In 2024, 67 students scored 700+ making ranks tighter at the top. In 2025, the paper was tougher so lower marks gave better ranks. A rank range accounts for this variation.
