Documents Required at the Exam Centre

IBPS has stated that candidates will not be allowed to appear for the Online Preliminary Examination without the following documents.

• Call letter with your photograph affixed on it, matching the photograph uploaded or captured live in the online application form, along with one additional photograph
• Photo identity proof bearing exactly the same name as it appears on the call letter, such as PAN card, passport, permanent driving license, voter ID card, bank passbook with photograph, Aadhaar card or e‑Aadhaar with photograph, employee ID, or an identity card issued by a recognised college or university
• The original document as well as a photocopy of the identity proof must be carried

IBPS has specifically clarified that a ration card or a learner's driving license will not be accepted as valid identity proof. Candidates who have changed their name will only be allowed entry if they carry the original gazette notification, original marriage certificate, or an original affidavit supporting the name change. Signatures in capital letters will also not be accepted on the call letter or attendance sheet.

Exam Day Instructions

Candidates have been advised to reach the examination venue at least 15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the call letter, since late arrivals will not be permitted to take the test. No candidate is allowed to use or carry calculators, mobile phones, pagers or any other communication or storage devices inside the examination hall, and carrying any banned item may lead to cancellation of candidature. Once the test begins, candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall until the test duration is over or until permission is given by the test administrator.

IBPS has also advised candidates to possess a valid Aadhaar card for the recruitment process, since online Aadhaar verification of candidates and scribes may be conducted at different stages of selection. Candidates who have been debarred from appearing in the CRP examination for a specified period should act according to the communication already issued to them by IBPS. The institute has reserved the right to introduce additional steps in the examination process to safeguard its integrity.

Candidates availing compensatory time under the government office memorandum dated August 10, 2022, will be granted the facility only on production of the certificate specified in the notification for CRP SPL‑XVI. Without this certificate, such candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
