CA Final 2026

CA Final 2026 is the third and most advanced level of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is the ultimate gateway to earning the prestigious Chartered Accountant (CA) designation and ICAI membership. Under the ICAI New Scheme of Education and Training, CA Final consists of 6 rigorous papers divided into two groups — Group I (Financial Reporting, Advanced Financial Management, Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics) and Group II (Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation, Indirect Tax Laws, Integrated Business Solutions). Paper 6 is a unique multidisciplinary case-study-based paper integrating knowledge from accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate laws, finance and strategic management. Each paper carries 100 marks with a 70:30 split between descriptive and objective (MCQ) questions, except Paper 6 which is entirely case-study based for 4 hours. Candidates must score 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate per group to pass. To be eligible to appear in CA Final, students must pass both groups of CA Intermediate, complete 2 years of Articleship (Practical Training), clear all 4 Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) and complete the required Advanced ICITSS training. CA Final is widely regarded as one of the toughest professional examinations in India.
