GATE CE (Civil Engineering) is one of the most popular and high-participation GATE papers in India. Conducted by IITs and IISc on a rotational basis, it evaluates undergraduate-level knowledge across core civil engineering disciplines. A qualifying GATE CE score enables admission to M.Tech/M.S./Ph.D. programs at IITs, IISc, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, and is widely used for PSU recruitment in organizations like ONGC, NTPC, NHAI, AAI, GAIL, BEL, and various state PWDs.
