GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Computer Science and Information Technology is one of India's most prestigious entrance examinations for admission to M.Tech/Ph.D. programs at IITs, IISc, NITs, IIITs, and other premier institutes, and for recruitment in PSUs. The exam tests analytical and problem-solving skills across core computer science subjects.
GATE DA (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) is a specialized GATE paper introduced in 2024 to address India's growing demand for skilled AI and Data Science professionals. Conducted jointly by IITs and IISc, it evaluates candidates on mathematical foundations, programming, databases, machine learning, and AI. A qualifying GATE DA score enables admission to M.Tech/M.S./Ph.D. programs at IITs, IISc, NITs, IIITs, and recruitment in data-driven PSUs and research roles.
JEE Main is a national level engineering entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is the gateway for admission to B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programs at NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and other centrally funded technical institutions across India. It also serves as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced (IIT admissions). Paper 1 covers Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Paper 2A covers Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing (B.Arch). Paper 2B covers Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning (B.Planning).
