NABARD typically opens a limited correction window of three to five days after the application period closes. During this window, candidates can modify specific fields.
| Fields That Can Be Corrected Fields That Cannot Be Changed | |
| Photograph and signature | Name |
| Date of birth (in some cycles, with documentary proof) | Application number / registration number |
| Exam centre preference | Post / discipline applied for |
| Category | Fee paid |
| Communication address |
The correction window is announced on nabard.org. Candidates who realize an error after the application window closes must use this window promptly. No corrections are accepted after the correction window closes.
The admit card (hall ticket) for Phase 1 is released approximately 10 to 15 days before the Phase 1 exam date.
For NABARD Grade A 2025:
| Field Content | |
| Candidate Name | As registered |
| Registration Number | Unique application ID |
| Roll Number | Assigned by NABARD for the exam |
| Post Applied For | Stream and category |
| Phase 1 Exam Date | Specific date assigned |
| Exam Centre | Full name and address of the centre |
| Reporting Time | Typically 30 minutes before exam |
| Exam Timing | As specified for the session |
| Photograph | As uploaded |
| Signature | As uploaded |
| Important Instructions | Documents to carry; prohibited items |
Verify every detail on the admit card immediately after downloading. Report discrepancies to NABARD immediately.
On the Phase 1 exam day, candidates must carry:
For Phase 2 and Interview, additional original documents (degree certificates, category certificates, PwBD certificate if applicable) may be required for verification. The specific list is mentioned on the Phase 2 and Interview call letters.
Applying for more than one post: NABARD explicitly states that candidates can apply for only one post or discipline. If multiple applications are submitted, only the last valid application before the deadline is considered.
Name not matching the 10th certificate: Any discrepancy between the name in the application and the Class 10 certificate is flagged during document verification. This is particularly common for candidates whose names have initials expanded or contracted.
Uploading the wrong photograph format: NABARD requires a specific file size range (20 to 50 KB for photographs). Many candidates upload high-resolution original photos without resizing, causing file size rejections.
Wrong category selection: OBC candidates who are in the creamy layer must apply as General category candidates. Selecting OBC when in the creamy layer is treated as misrepresentation and leads to disqualification during verification.
Missing the fee payment deadline: The fee payment link closes at the same time as the application window or shortly after. Not completing fee payment within the window results in an invalid application even if the form itself was submitted.
Entering an incorrect email or mobile number: All communications including admit card alerts, result notifications, and interview call letters are sent to the registered email and mobile. Entering a wrong digit leads to missed critical information.
Can a candidate apply for both RDBS General and a specialist stream? No. Candidates can apply for only one post or discipline in a given recruitment cycle.
Is Aadhaar mandatory for the NABARD Grade A application? Aadhaar is not mandatory for the application, but NABARD recommends using Aadhaar-linked details for identity verification. An alternative government-issued photo ID can be used in the absence of Aadhaar.
What should a candidate do if fee payment fails but the amount is deducted? Wait 24 to 48 hours for the deducted amount to reflect or be reversed. If the amount is deducted but not confirmed as a successful payment, contact NABARD's helpline or email with the transaction reference number and a screenshot of the bank statement.
Can a final-year student apply? Yes, provisionally. Final-year graduation or post-graduation students can apply if they expect to receive results before document verification. Their percentage must meet the minimum eligibility in the final result.
Is the correction window the same every year? NABARD does not guarantee a correction window for every recruitment cycle. In some years it has been provided; in others it has not. Candidates should not rely on the correction window and should fill the form correctly in the first attempt.
